Today at 05:20 am my alarm woke me up, but I had to keep quiet because it was so early and my sister wanted to sleep in. So i got dressed, brushed my teeth, combed my hair and ate breakfast. My father drove to Simone's house to pick her and her parents up and together we made the hour-long drive to Schiphol, the airport in Amsterdam. We got there at 7 am and we went to the passport control after we said goodbye to our parents. Then we had another passport control, and we bought stroopwafels in a store for the ladies at the office. It was quite the search to get to the right gate, but we got it right in the end. We had to go to Gate D6 and there we faced another passport control, as well as a boarding pass control. Then we had to go through a metal detector and put our stuff in trays so security could check our luggage. The next stop was the bus that would be taking us to the plane. Once inside the plane, we had to listen to safety intructions before we took off. After a flight of 45 minutes we landed at the Leeds-Bradford airport. Sinead, someone who works at the office, and her two children picked us up and drove towards Harrogate to show us where the office was located. Sinead then brought us to our hotel afer looking for it for half an hour. We unpacked and went out to explore Harrogate. We bought sandwiches, a mozarella cheese tomato for me and a steak-filled one for Simone. We then sat in the park for a while. When we got back to our room we watched two films, and then went to sleep.
Love,
Sanne
